- Prices for Rentals.
Prices quoted are
in Pound Sterling and are for the weekly rental of the property.
Prices include linen (pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers). Towels
(hand and bath towels as well as tea towels Pool
towels). Gas (bottled gas for the
cooker). Electricity.
Toiletries (soap,
shampoo, tissues, cotton wool, toilet rolls).
- To make a Booking. To
make a booking, complete in full the booking form, sign and date a copy of our Terms & conditions and send them
together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit -
(£150.00 per each week of your holiday). Cheques should be made
payable to M. Gottwald and sent to: 4 Hawkes Rd, Coggeshall, Essex, CO6 1QP,
U.K. Upon receipt of the booking form, signed terms & conditions
and
deposit a confirmation and invoice will be sent. Bookings made within 8 weeks of the start date of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
- Security Deposit. A
security deposit of £200.00 for all rental periods will be required
in case of damage to the property or it's contents. This will be
payable in full at the same time as paying for your holiday.
However, the amount of the security deposit does not limit your
liability to the proprietors. We will account for the security
deposit and refund the balance, (in the event that deductions are to
be made) within two weeks after the end date of the rental period.
- Payment.
Payment
of your rental together with the security deposit (£200.00) is due
not less than 8 weeks before the start date of the rental period. If
payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to
give notice in writing that the booking is cancelled. And in the
event that the property is not re-let, 50% of the final balance of
the invoice will be payable.
- Insurance.
You are strongly recommended to
take out a comprehensive travel and health insurance policy
(including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the
party's personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are
not covered by the proprietors' insurance.
- Cancellations.
Cancellations made after full payment has been made will not be refunded. Only the £200.00 Security Deposit will be returned in full.
- Start Days.
Arrival and departure days
are Saturdays. The property will be ready after 4.00p.m
(and before 8.00p.m) on the start date of your rental period.
Please advise if you are unable to arrive before 8.00p.m so that
alternative arrangements can be made to welcome you. Please do not
arrive early, as time is needed to thoroughly prepare the property
between lets. For the same reason please note that you should be
prepared to leave the property by 10.00a.m on departure
day.
- Swimming pool. The swimming pool and
surrounding area is shared with the proprietors. Bombing and
diving is NOT ALLOWED. Any such sustained activity will lead to
the pool being shut down.
- Maximum Occupancy. Maximum occupancy
for the property is 4 and must not be exceeded. All persons staying in the property must be named on the booking form at the time of the booking.
It is not permitted
to park caravans or pitch tents in the grounds.
- Visitors. Visitors
are NOT permitted.
- Animals. Animals are
NOT permitted.
- Cleaning Standards. The property will
be cleaned in readiness to welcome you on your arrival and you are
asked to leave the property and it's contents as you find
them. It is essential that you leave the property clean on your
departure. You are responsible for the cost of extra cleaning if the
property is left in an unreasonable state and deductions will be
made from your security deposit. Additional cleaning is charged at
10 Euros per hour.
- Property Care.
We reserve the right to enter the property at a reasonable time to care out any necessary maintenance, gardening etc. Guests are requested not to touch or interfere with pool equipment and materials, or allow any misuse of the pool, the surrounding area or main property which might result in damage. In any such case immediate relevant action will be taken by the proprietors, including termination of the letting, to remedy the situation and to charge full costs for replacement and repairs resulting from any misuse or abuse of the property.
- The Proprietor shall not be liable for:

any accident of a third party which
occurs as a direct result of insufficient adult supervision when
using the swimming pool or river. |

any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public
services to the property.

for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse
weather conditions, force majeure, strike, riot, war or other
matters beyond our control.

for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by
the guest if the property shall be destroyed or substantially
damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such
event, the proprietor shall, within 7 days of notification to
you, refund all sums previously paid in respect of the rental
period. Under no circumstances shall the proprietors' liability
to you exceed the amount paid to us for the rental period. |

Contract. This contract is
subject to French law in every particular and shall be
deemed to have been made in France. Any proceedings arising
out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in
any court of competent jurisdiction in France.
